TatumKustomz
That's awesome. A good group of seniors and a great RB makes a world of difference. I'm pulling for y'all!
westcoast54
Great job Ore City! What in the world is wrong with Rivercrest? They were supposed to be able to compete after dropping down.
flukeshot
What in the world is wrong with Rivercrest? They were supposed to be able to compete after dropping down. Did you see them play last year? It wasn't enough for them just to drop to be able to compete, they also needed to get a lot better.
Luther
I'm not sure how dropping down makes you magically beat a school that's a classification up and has superior athletes
flukeshot
Ore City's not a class up, they're just 3 districts over in region 3. And Rivercrest has also lost to Detroit, who is a division down and almost certainly won't win another game this year. (And apropos of nothing, that Detroit win is the only one so far achieved this year by a Red River County school. RRC football --- catch the excitement!) But yes, it required some magical thinking to suppose that dropping down would make Rivercrest suddenly better, given that they lost to a couple (what were then) 1A schools last year. I guess the real hope would've been a new coaching staff might re-energize the program, and something something something profit, but that doesn't seem to have happened. pockets
I told ya'll about that young Blankenship coach. He is the key to there success.
westcoast54
So the Crest had a new Head Coach in 2013 and now 2014. Will they go for a three peat in 2015?

It hasn't only been on the HC the last couple of years. How about the DC who couldn't figure out how to stop all go's against an atrocious Chisum team last year? I know some people who have worked there and also have family in the area. Hear it's a great place to live and not a bad place to work as well. Unless your a football coach.
