Beckville is clearly on another level than the schools in this district. As I said, get used to the same type of scores through district play. Lovelady beat Grapeland 2nd round and Grapeland and Lovelady still have to play Slocum 2nd round. By Lovelady sweeping double header tonight against Centerville, we pretty much locked up a playoff spot. Should be Grapeland, Slocum, and Lovelady. Just won't know the order for another couple of weeks. It's gonna get interesting the rest of the way! Any insight on how district 22-2A is unfolding? I'm not sure on what # our district is, but if it's 22AA, the three playoff teams will be Joaquin, Alto, and Cushing. The order is still up in the air. Grapeland is still In the drivers seat and I see them hanging on to the top spot.Sounds like Coach Price has the girls rolling in Lovelady, so I'd think the Lady Lions have the inside edge for the second seed. Lovelady 11-4 winners over Neches also Friday night. That sets up Slocum @ Lovelady on 4/17 with the winner locking up 2nd place. Gonna be a good one!!!
