LLion22
Care to offer suggestions on decent places to stay for a decent price? Preferrably within 20 minutes of stadium? I've stayed at the Howard Johnson Express Arlington for about $60/night and it was acceptable. Any other places that are clean and reasonably priced? Any unique places that one might not usually think of? Walmart parking lot doesn't count.

If there is a reasonably clean establishment within an easy drive of JerryWorld for $60/ night, I wouldn't advertise it. It will be full before you get there. blackflag79
You can shop around for a motel room at Hotels.com, or one of the other sites. It will save you money. I've saved at least 50% a few times.

WiseGuy
the Ranger Inn is across from the six flags parking lot. It's definitely nothing fancy but it was clean when I stayed there for a Rangers game.

regaleagle
What I'm doing I've done before. I call Winstar and stay for several nights on comps at the casino and drive back and forth each day to the stadium. The hotel is luxurious with plenty of fun and food right there for your stay. They are having a 9 hole golf tourney next Sat. morning with tee off at 10am with food and drink. It will be a shotgun start and be over by 12:30. I'll go to the Thurs. games, then drive to the casino and check in Thurs. night. On Friday morning I'll drive to the stadium and take in all the games, then drive back to the casino(approx. 1 hr.20 min.) whenever I want. On Sat. I'll just watch the games on the many TV's they have around the casino after the golf tournament, or you could watch them in your room, OR you could just go to the stadium again. On Sun. I'll be entered in the Slot Tourney (cash and/or credits if you place) and then drive home to Central Texas Sunday evening. That's my planned weekend. Once you're there....it's 30 min. from the casino to Denton, and about 40 mins. from Denton to the stadium. Add another 10 minutes and you're in the stadium.
