Parisian
Here's the bracket for next week's Kings Classic. It's an 8-team boys tournament (all 4A teams except for Denison & Greenville) with cross-group scheduling that ensures 4 matches against common opponents. Hope weather doesn't interfere (can't afford to lose any matches off the schedule). 2015_Kings_Classic.pdf

Plan to camp out at the stadium except during Friday's Paris-LE boys basketball game (which conflicts with Paris-Pitt soccer match).
Sandman
I expect Paris and Pitt to make deep soccer playoff runs this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see both at the Regional Tournament in Tyler.
Parisian
It's a rebuilding year for Paris after a strong senior group graduated. Re-alignment came a year too late for them. Â Cats are playing in Prosper Showcase this weekend against some tough 5A/6A opponents. Lost, 4-2, to Little Elm today, play Denton Ryan tomorrow. Parisian
Glad to be able to do it. Don't think any of these teams are serious challengers for state finals, at least not yet, but it was a pretty level tournament field and I liked the format of having 2 group champions. Makes for a fair setup, and you don't get those awkward rematches.
futfan
Pleasant Grove will fare much better against schools closer to it's enrollment of 623 than it did in previous years, as would anyone, but they also have a better side to work with than last year. They defeated the alumni 3-2 in the annual scrimmage, even though the score was skewed by a winning goal that was scored on a varsity keeper playing for the alumni by a star PG player. That said, they will be looking good in the fight for district. Pittsburg remains the nemesis on that road. I think that they will contest hotly for the title, and Atlanta and LE will go 3 and 4.
