Top darkhorses to win the region? I would have to say the 5 you posted with Whitney and Newton pretty close. Either Rockdale, Kountze, Buna, or Crockett can win the Region. Dark horse means a team that no one is giving a chance and by the number doesn't have a chance, Yet has the kids to get on fire at the right time and surprise some people. In my mind, a dark horse is a team that is capable of winning the region or state or whatever it may be. Teague wouldn't beat Rockdale if they played 10 times. Haven't been able to push through to the regional tournament...it won't be easy to get there this year...
