Parisian Posted May 9, 2015 Share Posted May 9, 2015 Paris vs. Spring Hill Game 1 in weather delay. Scoreless game, bottom of 6th, 2 outs, bases empty with Spring Hill batting. It had been a fast-moving pitchers duel between SH #1 Parker White and Paris #2 Channing Parker until lightning hit at about 6 pm. I'm not there, but it looks like the field is getting pounded and there's no tarp out except at home plate. If they can't complete Game 1 tonight this becomes a one-game series, by UIL rule. Paris News tweets that the teams have now nixed the idea of traveling to Longview. Anyway, glad I didn't make the trip. Also in bi-district tonight, North Lamar beat Gilmer, 10-6.
