I think ours lasted 3 rounds longer than anyone expected. Cushing is better than anyone gives them credit for. As far as I know, the district win our girls got against them is their only loss of the year. We are losing the best girl athlete in school history, but only graduating two starters besides her. We'll be bringing back two hitters with multiple home runs this year, as well as several kids that can put the ball in play and burn up the bases. We should be able to score runs in bunches next year. We also return a spin artist pitcher, and will have a freshman fire baller that will likely get her share of innings. Future is bright.
