Just thought I'd share..... some of our district mates have some really fantastic football websites! Others....not so much. But you can find just about all the info you need between them.

Good job everyone.

We had a discussion a while back about schools' fight songs and who they originally belong to. For reference, I finally have audio of ours. The vid is taken at this morning's grand opening of a Walmart Neighborhood Market (keep your laughter to yourself). I think it's original myself, but if it's not, I'd like to know once and for all from where it came.

Hallsville's is "Dixie" played at a very fast clip. Not sure what that is in music jargon. Surprised no one has complained about it particularly in today's PC environment.

It sounds very similar to East Carolina's....

I know this doesnt mean squat, but fun to look at in the mean time. Realized something pretty interesting on paper.

Hallsville beat Nac by 4.

Marshall beat Hallsville by 35

Lufkin beat Nac by 38

Longview beat Lufkin by 1

On paper, that puts both Marshall and Longview tied at plus 39 if you use nac as the common team.

It can't be as bad as Jacksonville and Whitehouse..

WH is better.

It's a tie with Jax. They are both bad.

At least the Tomato Bowl has an aura about it. The train tracks. The rock wall. The history.

SS..... is literally a pasture with lights.

Insects man....insects.

No way can you call those flying saucers bugs. And Texas High is just as bad. Maybe not quantity wise but definitely quality.

Something is up in that I-30 corridor I tell ya.
