Greenville
Because the rest of the district has their own threads...may as well not get left out. Greenville had a 40-game losing streak heading into 2014. North Garland turned out to be their slumpbuster. Now NG heads to Greenville to try to return the favor, and break a long (27 game) losing streak of their own. North Garland 2014 (District 11-6A): 0-10 (0--7 district) Greenville 2014 (District 15-5A): 4-6 (2-5 district) Useless Trivia: North Garland has two games against Coach Sedberrys this season: against Greenville Coach Marvin Sedberry this Friday, and against his son Marvin Sedberry Jr. and Naaman Forrest on Sept. 25. The Real Mavfan
Taking Greenville in this one. I was impressed with how well coached and tough they played last year.
LoboFan07
No idea what North Garland has this season, but they've been down for a while it seems now. Greenville started to turn the corner, imo, last season so I'll go with them.
collincountyfootball1
You can definitely tell the difference Sedberry is making over there in Greenville. The coaches at Princeton have scheduled Greenville the past four years now and you see more and more athletes coming out to play each year now. I expect them to win a few more games than last year. scottmyers39
Just to play devil's advocate, I'm picking North Garland. And the Raiders will NOT go 0-10 this season.

Greenville
Useless info that only I care about: Due to a scheduling quirk, this is Greenville's only home game until October. They have three straight road games (plus a bye mixed in) in the month of September.
Greenville
Final score was Greenville 21, North Garland 14. Offense was pretty inept most of the night (Hale is a stud of a running back, but we tried so hard not to overwork him that we kept shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties and turnovers.) Our defense came to PLAY tonight. They finally learned how to tackle. With the exception of only a couple of big plays, they were pretty lights out. (I don't care how bad North Garland was supposed to be, we haven't looked that good against anybody...ANYBODY in a long, long time.)
