Aggie98
We won 52-49, but yea.. That's just crazy. How in the wide-wide world of sports do you blow a 39- point lead? I mean the dadgum QB could have taken a knee the entire 2nd half and you might give up 28 pts. Unbelievable.

Crawford
42-3... Ha, ha, even better. I was heading home from Buna and was trying to listen to the Lp radio announcer, and he was so excited, I had trouble understanding how it went down. Either way sounds like a great game to have witness, especially if your team is on the winning end.

Lobo97
Here's one. Â http://www.ahsfhs.org/games/2008Houston.asp That still wasn't as big as this one. That was a 35 point deficit. Lufkin was down by 39.
Bclove05
There was another good game right down the road in liberty city. Sabine was up 43-40 when they got the ball back with 2:16 left in the game. They scored with 1:45 left to make it 50-40. Then they go on to let Frankston score twice to win 52-50. But what Lufkin did is quite unbelievable.
KildogDad
That still wasn't as big as this one. That was a 35 point deficit. Lufkin was down by 39. I'm not sure. Scoring 36 points in the 4th quarter ain't too shabby.
Lobo97
I'm not sure. Scoring 36 points in the 4th quarter ain't too shabby. That's impressive. I'm just wondering what the largest deficit overcome is.
Crawford
I'd like to know, what adjustment did Lufkin make to start this amazing comeback or was it just good fortune?
3rdcoastent
To me i saw the d ends They stayed at home on the read option instead of going at the rb or qb they stayed in contain and waited to see who had the ball then made the play
