Greenville
Well...SOMEONE'S gotta win. :) Sulphur Springs (0-5, 0-2 district) vs Greenville (1-4, 0-2) in a bitter rivalry. Sulphur Springs has dominated this matchup for the last decade, but their sudden decline gives the Lions an opening to score a victory in this series. The winner starts to get back into the District 15-5A race. Greenville, as always, is led by RB Carandal Hale. Hale comes into the contest with 1,089 rushing yards on 102 carries along with 10 TDs. He gained 126 yards on the ground against Longview last week. Defensively, the lopsided score of the Longview game hides an actually improved defensive effort from the Lions. They actually surrendered fewer points to the Lobos (51) than they did against Royse City (60.) Much improved tackling in last night's game forced the Lobos to actually face third (and fourth) downs on several occasions. I really don't know what Sulphur Springs has in store this week, so I'll let someone else handle things from the Wildcats' perspective.

THSfanatic
You could insult John Tyler and get some side action. Try talking about the band. That stirs'em up

Triton
Having seen both teams the past 2 weeks I think the Lions have an edge. Can't really look at the scores in the games against Mp to give the whole picture.
