Are y'all playing Corsicana Saturday? If so, they should have played the game on Monday since they have to play on Saturday any way.

Ennis isn't. Lufkin didn't know JT would change to a Saturday. Both coaches made the decision. Last I checked, Ennis still isn't playing on saturday

Coin flips have determined district championships and playoff representatives hundreds if not thousands of times in the past. It's just a fact of life. This isn't the NFL. Students are the number one consideration - not the fans. The kids safety must always be number one. Disruption to academics should be another big factor. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Beating a dead horse. BOTH coaches agreed to this, it was not a one sided deal where Lufkin said they didn't want to come back, why should they have to bear that expense, plus you see now how today turned out and JT-Corsi gets moved to Monday. Which neither the Ennis or Lufkin coach wanted, that was in total agreement. So it is what it is and just go on down the road to the next thing.

Ya had to be there and understand the situation and Lufkin's traveling situation..yes this was unprecedented but so was weather..good decision by both teams...means nada as to plyoffs..it was Div 1 vs Div 2 game. All good ..still have to win the next couple of weeks,,consider it a extra bye week just b4 playoffs..btw it took Lkin 6 hs to get there because of flooding

I'm all for Lufkin not playing a single game the next two weeks. ;) Come on Corsicana and Jacksonville. Just flip a coin. Make em sit for a month.

Why?? Y'all are going to be favored in that one by 75 and of course we lose every year in the first round.
