ehern181
So with the MLS in full playoff mode, and looking towards next season for those fans not from Vancouver, Dallas, NYRB, and DC, what is the general opinion of East Texas for Pro/Rel in US Soccer? Personally I think it would be a great idea and we need it to develop better players and better competition.

flukeshot
There's no culture or tradition of it in the US, and safe to say no MLS owner would be in favor of his team being relegated into a second tier league. It'll never happen.
ehern181
I agree that don garber doesn't have the balls to upset the owners, but even if we don't have the culture does not mean we can't implement it, how awesome would it be if Tyler had a minor league team that could one day aspire for D1 status. Almost every country in the world does it (besides Australia, New Zealand, and I guess Canada) I think we will suffer in the Concachamps due to this and a Mexican team will again represent Concacaf in the Club World Cup.
