I know it's been a long time. 1982 was the last year Shelbyville won district going 8-2 on the year. Lester Belrose was the head coach.They beat Burkeville 28-0 the first game of the season and then lost to them in the Bi-District game.The current Shelbyville Middle school Principal was their top running back that year. They went 3 rounds deep and were eliminated by Mart. The Dragons have been in the playoffs only 10 times in the last 65 years and have never made it past the second round. The 1953 team won their Class B Region but back then that's as far as Class B played.
