bordertown Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Texas High entered the Region II Team Tennis Tournament unseeded, but left with a ticket to the state tournament. The Tigers opened by beating #3 seed Ennis 10-0 & #2 seed Frisco Liberty 10-5 on Friday. On Saturday they defeated #1 seed Frisco 10-5 to advance to State. I know Longview faced off against Forney, and I'm assuming they either won and then lost to Frisco..or lost to Forney right out of the gates in the Region II quarters...but would like to see the results of it. bordertown Posted November 1, 2015 Author Share Posted November 1, 2015 Hard to get information on team tennis. Probably worse this year as they were searching out indoor courts on Friday. I suspect Longview was seeded 4th by virtue of their win over T-High in district. Per the Gazzette, Longview was playing Frisco in the semis and apparently lost. I don't know if they still play out position at Regionals (i.e. 3rd & 4th). If so, they would have played Frisco Liberty. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
