Baron
After listening to Norvel and Bedford press conferences it sounds like some of the freshman will get playing time in the last four games. It also sounds like there will be a shorter leash on upper classmen that don't put out the effort coaches are expecting.

I expect to see Elliott at safety this week too!

Red90fly
I hope this means Doyle and Flowers! I expect to see Elliott at safety this week too! I'll be all for this , Doyle and Flowers can't go soon enough. Dylan Haines can have his walking papers as well. If Texas can land Delance and Okafor this year a future line of Connor Williams , Vahe , Okafor , Delance and ??? would be pretty exciting down the line. Might enable to move Vahe to center. It's amazing how bad the Sr. and Jr. class for UT is , only one I could see potentially getting drafted next 2 years is Ridgeway.
JustAFan11
This is a pretty solid read! @JesusInsideTex: . @Ian_A_Boyd with a tremendous look at QBs at Texas: https://t.co/C1VO1qwTXE (FREE) #HookEm https://t.co/ze2KggInME
thegreatbambino
Texas is rotating along the O-line. Lots of young guys playing tonight.
JustAFan11
@tedemrich: Malik Jefferson is sick. He is the emergency LB tonight. Quan Cosby reports he'll only play if someone is injured.
JustAFan11
Deshon Elliott is wearing 16 instead of his normal 4.
Lhornfan
Vance Bedford is killing our defense! Strong's choices for coordinators is what's going to cost him his job in Austin.
Lhornfan
Unbelievable that we can't line up and ruin over Kansas. Heard is trying to be too cute, and the Jayhawks have momentum now.
JustAFan11
We got up 17-0 and started trying to play everyone. 66 and 65 (Flowers and Hutchins) on the left side together is terrible! I agree With Bedford. It's like he's asking them to do too much. Asking Cole to drop from the line into coverage is too much for him!
JustAFan11
Great 1st quarter and bad 2nd quarter! I know no one wants to hear excuses but this is exactly how a young team plays!

Ettu
Agree 100% justafan. Been telling my buddies the same thing. When you play this many freshman and sophomores, you're going to have some growing pains. I guess I'm in the minority but I hope they leave Strong alone and let him get 4 years of his guys. I like what I've seen the last couple of times I've been to the 40 acres.

It wasn't unexpected, the coaches said all week that they would get the young guys in during meaningful times of the game. It just hurt momentum. Baron
What a difference a half (or quarter) makes. Nice win but it was against Kansas.
