What a game...if you weren't there you missed a great one.

Best game I've seen in quite a few years.

Someone (maybe regal?) mentioned earlier on about Argyle's special teams advantage... And boy was he right. Argyle is superb in the return game, punt game, kickoffs, and what stood out the most to me was their kicked going 3 for 3 in field goals, one of which was from 39 yards out.

Could always go over the what if scenarios, and even questionable calls... But I'd say Argyle's kicking game won it for them tonight. Also the argyle qb really took control of the offense in the 2nd half with his feet.

The biggest blunder that stands out to me is LE not having enough players on the field and giving up the long, easy TD to Estrada. Believe there were only 9 defenders on the field at the time, none of which were anywhere near Estrada.

As far as our hurt player, Andre Wiley, I'm hearing it's a pinched nerve in the neck, just following protocol on the injury, pray that it's nothing more.

Congrats Argyle, now go finish the job.

Congrats to our 33 seniors who have been major part of turning around the football program at Liberty Eylau. A lot of them will be suiting up on Saturdays next year.

Wiseguy out.

Prayers for the LE player. He is a beast!Argyle played about the worst first half they have played in years but they found a way to win.Great game!LE has a load of speed!!

We played the worst third quarter possible and our guys dropped balls that they've caught all year but besides that!

Argyle you took that game when it was up for grabs, it was a well earned victory LE defense played lights out besides one critical mistake and it's not only on the defense it's the whole sideline we have them a freebie something that doesn't happen this late in the season! Boys you played your hearts oout coaches coaches thier hearts out it hurts because I feel like that way our to take I feel for those boys their hurting, prayers out to Wiley I hope he is ok! I'm signing out from here see you guys after awhile

Congrats to ScotlandtheBrave's Awesome Argyllians on their Victory! Maybe if we can get by LaVega, we can have a Showdown in Houston! We did suffer some injuries to some key players tonight that will make our task a little tougher, & had Several costly penalties that we Must improve upon if we are to make it to " The Dance"... One game at the time, one snap at the time............

Just got back to my room at the Winstar. WOW.....what a football game, folks. Two heavyweights going at it all night.....tit for tat. Kemon Freeman is as advertised.....just a fantastic athlete. I think both teams played their hearts out tonite on the gridiron of glory and it was very close just like I thought it would be. Overall, I'd say Argyle surprised me a little bit being able to get to the corner on some of those runs. Argyle's kicking game and toughnosed defense put LE in a place they weren't used to being all season. I knew it may come down to the Eagles kicking game. The punts were good and the field goals were too. I'll say more tomorrow......right now I'm going down to the casino floor to get a beer and celebrate. I did meet one LE fan here at the Winstar. There may quite a few more. I can guess I'm probably the only Argyle fan here that went to the game. WAY TO GO EAGLES!!!

Congrats Dawg! +1000. Such a showdown would be outstanding and offer us the chance to win the rubber match! Lol! Hope those players are ok. I know that there are a lot of great Texas 4A players, coaches, teams and fans hurting this weekend both physically and otherwise and I salute each and every one of them and reassure them that they have a huge amount to be proud of and nothing to be ashamed of, and that the memories will be sweet especially as the short term sting quickly passes. Fortunately we are wired that way. LE has a team and group of athletes that is flat impressive indeed, and we are extremely fortunate to have gotten past such a great group for for a second time. Hear hear for the Leopards of Texarkana Liberty Eylau and a banner season once again! As Chain stated, now on to a lifetime of fine memories, and they get sweeter by the year! (and with some of us fuzzier and much less authentic than what the reality of it was, but sweet nonetheless).

Wish I could have watched this game, but even trying to listen to it was too much for my endurance...way past my bedtime. Argyle is so tough to beat because, even though the stats looked almost identical in yardage and turnovers, the Eagles find a way to beat you in clutch time. As others have mentioned, their kicking game is a big part of their success. Kudos to L-E for an outstanding 2-year run with this senior group.

Good win Argyle, no excuses.

To L.E. team and fans, thanks for the ride! You have been a resilient team all season long. Nevertheless turnovers kill opportunities. To me, that was the only difference in the game for the most part. I wish that we could just fast forward to zero week 2016! KALE!

Just my 2 cents:

Great job by a very good Argyle team once again. Very impressed with your kids and the way they play. LE did a great job all year long and had a great football team. Both teams had 3 turnovers and the difference in the turnovers was field position which is huge in a game of this caliber. I always say that there are 3 phases of a football game and if you win 2 of them you win the game. This game was a little different IMO. Offense was a tie, Defense was a tie, but special teams was a HUGE Argyle victory and everyone knew they were good in that category. Tough loss but a lot to learn for the LE football team. Next year LE will be back and be ready for another run. Congrats LE seniors, you made the LE community proud.

Coaching is the x factor in the playoffs. Fundamentals win games this time of year. Coaches that address all the little fundamentals during the season and tweaks the things that need adjustments usually give their team the coaching advantage and the best chance to win. Not having the proper number of players on the field is just unacceptable , but for no one on staff to notice that and get a timeout is even more unacceptable. Very very disappointing . Argyle is just a better prepared team and they are excellent at the fundamentals. They play the odds , you can tell they have been coached to hold and grab jerseys because if you play the odds holding is only going to be call 1 out of 10 times during play. If you run a 100 play you only risk getting holding called 10 at most . If these holds create 4 or 5 big plays or help you convert 3rd and 4th down conversions odd are you win games. This is coaching! Same is true in the secondary, most pass interference or defensive holding calls only get called on the dB that is covering the player that is been thrown to because officials are only focused where th e ball is going. Yes turnovers hurt but everyone has to except responsibility for their part in the break down in the fundamental parts of the game.
