knothead58
Im still trying to figure out why the beating ou took from a 5-7 team isnt dropping them to 5 or 6 iowa should still be ahead of them ohio state too... At least they lost to ranked teams

Why not talk about how they should be jumping a team that lost to someone who finished 5-7?
topher805
I think it will be: 1. Clemson 2. Alabama 3. Michigan State 4. Oklahoma After yesterday, it should be: 1. Alabama 2. Oklahoma 3. Clemson 4. Michigan State

Valhalla
Explain that one to me? People having been saying that Stanford could have jumped Oklahoma, but Alabama has the weakest resume of the top 4 so why wouldn't it be them. That's my point. Valhalla
Clemson- 3 top 25 wins ( all 3 in top 10) Michigan State - 4 top 25 wins (all in 4 in top 15) Alabama - 3 top 25 wins ( 1 in top 20) Oklahoma - 4 top 25 wins ( 1 in top 15 and 2 in top 20)
Valhalla
It doesn't really matter if MSU was 2 or 3 does it? The principle matters. Michigan State has better wins than Alabama, and they have the same record so they should be #2.

Sportsfanatic1
The principle matters. Michigan State has better wins than Alabama, and they have the same record so they should be #2. Okay. But earlier you were saying a 2 loss Stanford should replace the #2 team in the country but leave #3 and #4 alone, I just don't get that logic or why you would think the committee would use that logic. I'm saying that media have been saying it could be possible for Stanford to have jumped into the playoff over Oklahoma or MSU if they committee liked them enough. I'm saying that of the top 4( Clemsom, OU, Alabama, Michigan State) that Alabama has the least impressive resume so why wouldn't it be the them. I will say this I think they have the right four teams in the playoffs this year.
