Marshall has had our share, but I just think of some JT, Longview and Lufkin teams we've seen over the years and damn...

We usually know in Marshall when we have "that team" but almost every year it seems like those big 3 have the team and players that could do something special...

And I am not trying to rub the sting in, but LR is fortunate... JT was up like 20 against LR right? And LV was something like 20s away... and Lufkin played Longview tough twice this season...

Glad 2 of those 3 aren't in our district anymore... it would give me flashbacks of my Sr year...

You mean JT was down 21 against LR.

Not just a Lobo. Lobos, Panthers, Mavs and even Cujo should rent a bar or something for the weekend and drown our sorrows in something. We all should probably have more titles..I know Lufkin should. Dang Carroll. Smh

Hey man, I'm buying into the #1 priority of getting the talent some looks from next level. Forget about winning the big game or winning championships, that will require some extreme luck for JT.

there's always next year wulfie...and the year after that...and the year after that...and the year after that...and the year after that...

(Sigh)...the glamorous life of a Lobo...

Yep..

All seriousness though...I'm already looking ahead to 2018.

I somehow doubt 2016 and 2017 are going to be "bad seasons" for Longview. But their district competition will be tougher than what it was the last 2 years.

6A region 2 playoffs will be a beast in both divisions.....but that's nothing new.

Oh no...they won't.

I mean they'll be bad by Longview's standard of course lol (something like 9 win seasons) but not exactly bad seasons. 17' will be better than 16' for sure IMO.

I single out 2018 because I believe that'll be the next time that Longview are true title contenders. That team should be beyond stacked if everything stays put.
