WhoamI97539 Posted April 16, 2016 Share Posted April 16, 2016 As much as I hated to see Kilgore lose to Palestine in a SO after Kilgore dominated the 100 mins of regulation and both OT's of the match. I have to give credit where credit is due to palestine's GK for making the plays when he needed to. But Congratulations to the "Wildcats" on their Title well deserved. I believe they are only the 2nd East Texas team to win state so its an amazing feat. I also saw on another thread they had to replace 8 starters from the year before so to win state is just short of a miracle. Must be pretty young then but I doubt they can repeat. Extremely young team...Replacing the goalie will be the hardest thing to do Starters: 2 Seniors (GK, DEF) 3 Juniors (2 MID, 1 DEF) 4 Sophomores (FWD, MID, DEF) 2 Freshmen (FWD, MID) Roster: 7 Seniors (State Tourney MVP - Goalie) 4 Juniors (1 All Tourney Team, Accounted for 1 of 7 SO Conversions) 7 Sophomores (1 All Tourney Team, Accounted for 6 of 7 SO Conversions) 6 Freshmen (1 All Tourney Team) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
