I think all baseball playoff series should be best 2 out of 3, definitely the only way to determine the better team. But, as long as the option of a 1 game playoff is out there we will see these scenarios. Good luck to both teams, and NO, I do not have a dog in this fight. They have been playing together for several years now under Coach Robert Ellis, who pitched for the Angels, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, and Rangers during his playing career.
