That's rule #1 of this forum. Bashing of Coaches, teams, players,schools, or game officials will not be tolerated. Texas High took care of business against Bishop Lynch.... that was the lone bright spot for the district. Yes....SS beat Sherman. BUT...... they only won by 1 point, yet allowed over 40 points. I honestly don't think Sherman is a very good team. Beating a bad team by 1..... but a win is a win. Can't take that away from the Wildcats. Marshall looked lost Vs. a Tyler Lee team that most don't think is very good. Pine Tree lost to a bad Jax team Hallsville lost to a bad WH team Greenville lost to a bad N. Garland team MP lost to a bad N. Forney team Maybe this race is going to be tighter than we think....... Not ready to panic yet..... it's ONE game. But..... wowzers. Wasn't expecting that. Florida's largest classification, but doesn't look like they had a great year last year. I'll go with SS just to be an in state homer. Texas High Longview (what in the world happened this week Marshall?? Saw myself picking y'all in this a few weeks ago) Pittsburg Mount Pleasant Crandall ( sorry Greenville. I hope y'all surprise me. No, I really wouldn't be that surprised to see y'all compete for that 4th playoff spot if y'all can get it clicking. Hallsville and MP struggled this week. dillonpanthers Posted September 1, 2016 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Some interesting picks over on the Old Coach..the Old Coach's Diggs and a writer for DFW varsity (not that they mean much) -both picked SS to lose, one by 28 one by 41 -both picked MP to lose to North Lamar by 1 -Pittsburg over Pine Tree by 28 and 30 -Longview over Marshall by 28 and 42 -Wylie East over Hallsville by 14 and 21 -Crandall over Greenville by 7 and 1 -Both picked Texas High over Arkansas High by 1 and 7. If REL does the same to Corsi that they did to us... Maybe a SLIGHT sigh of relief for us. If it's a close game.... That's concerning. A Corsi win could cause some gnashing of teeth. Completely self-funded. I would just think that the game between two different states at the ESPN stadium in Orlando would be, you know...on ESPN.
