Stoney
Sale is the flashier name but you'd wind up with more bang for your buck with Archer.
Wild74
I wouldn't trade Springer or Bregman, I think Springer will be a 35 to 40 hr guy very soon. I think Houston is set for a good run next year

THSfanatic
Word out of Houston is White Sox are asking for Martes, Tucker, AND Musgrove for Quintana. Good Lord...... If Astros make that deal I'm driving to Houston to look for Lunhow.

topher805
Stinks for the kid, but it is what it is...It will be interesting to see how this plays out and how much help he will get from the MLBPA That said, Houston is in the mix for a lot of big names in the starting pitching market right now. All names that want Bregman, but the Astros have said he is off limits. Archer, Quintana, Danny Duffy, Yordano Ventura are all in play. It seems as if Duffy is the most likely acquisition for the Astros...Fiers and McHugh are on the trading block for current pitchers that could be gone... Bags is one of 11 1B with 200 steals since 1900. Those 11 guys combined for 549 homers. Bagwell? 449. That's a Hall of Famer folks.
