If you don't think your comments could be considered bashing maybe you should read them agian. You are correct that we have been down in football recently but we still have pride so be careful jumping on it and you wont get a response from me. These kids deserve better than what we have given them the past few years so if it takes a old grumpy guy like me to defend them than I will. And when I grew up I wanted the same for my kids. It's a lil bigger now than when I was in school but I still see alot of the same last names now. Maybe they were thinking same as me. Community is a big part of the school and large schools just don't have that. You can keep your big school dream small schools don't need it. Spring Hill beat Gilmer one time in the 1980`s. Gilmer did not make the playoffs that season. Â 2. Spring Hill did not beat Gilmer in the 1990's. Â 3. Spring Hill beat Gilmer in the 2000 season. Gilmer did not make the playoffs that season. Traylor took over in 2001. Â 4. Spring Hill has not beaten Gilmer since 2000. Â Â So I ask again, when exactly did Spring Hill beat Gilmer when everyone thought they had no business playing them? Â By the way, it ain't happening Friday. Â The first thing we were told at Gilmer when preparing for the Spring Hill games in the 1990's was that their players would run their mouth the entire game, no matter what the score was. This was true. Spring Hill players were arrogant jerks. It was true in the 1990's and from talking with the parents of kids who have played Spring Hill the past couple of seasons, it is still true today. SH will play to the end, but this game will be over pretty quick. Look for Gilmer to play starters until halftime, maybe a few plays in the 3rd, then work on the run game.
