BASEBALL TRIVIA

After what I believe was good research I came up with Joe Carter with 118 hits and 103 RBIs.

Tenative question: What team has the longest drought since their last playoff win?

Joe Carter is a good guess but not the correct answer, sir.

What do these four active Major Leaguers have in common? :

  • Rajai Davis, Athletics
  • Nyjer Morgan, Nationals
  • Jamie Moyer, Phillies
  • Juan Pierre, White Sox

:pointer: It is something very specific and unique to these four players ... it has nothing to do with where they were born, were they went to high school, whether than are left-handed or right-handed, etc.

If you were listening to last night's Rangers-White Sox radio broadcast, you would know the answer! :w00t:

No, sir ...

HINT: it has something to do with their on-field wardrobe.

Dang...It has to do with their wardrobe and possibly how they wear their pants? I need another clue.

:pointer: All four wear the sock + stirrup combo (should be a required wardrobe, but that is a discussion for another day)

Pete Rose of the Reds ... he reached on an error by Johnson himself, in the top of the 9th & scored later in the inning on an error by Colt 45s' second baseman Nellie Fox.

Andy Pettite?

Andy Pettitte with a question mark seems to indicate that you are asking. If "Andy Pettitte" is your answer, OK, but if that is not.................

Yes, Andy Pettitte is the correct answer. The next question is yours, sir.
