5,465 fans (including your's truly) witnessed the WildCatters fall to the Amarillo Dillas, 3-1.

 

Fans had to be seated in foul territory and along the warning track in the outfield. Had a ball hit a fan in fair territory (which did not happen), it would have been a ground-rule double.

  • The last MLB brothers to homer in the same game while playing on opposing teams were Cesar (Padres) and Felipe (Giants) Crespo on June 7, 2001.

  • The only two players to hit home runs, at the Major League level, before the age of 20 and after they turned 40 are Ty Cobb and Rusty “Le Grande Orange” Staub.
