Stoney
Jeff Bagwell Edgar Martinez Lee Smith Billy Wagner Ivan Rodriguez I agree with Bagwell. MVP, one of the great sluggers of his era. Shoulder issues hurt the end of his career. Never believed the roid rumors. Edgar Martinez belongs in the Hall. One of the great hitters. He belongs in before Ortiz. Lee Smith- all time saves leader at one point. Belongs in along with Trevor Hoffman. Purge should be a first ballot HOFer. kylews8973
I definitely believe ortiz belongs in before edgar. Ortiz has the numbers and he basically singlehandedly brought a championship back to Boston. The most clutch hitter in our era.
DaveTV1
The only guys I see making the cutoff. None of them go in on the first ballot. I could only vote for Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines, Larry Walker, and Lee Smith.

No. They'll get enough votes to stay on the ballot. That's it.
