chukslegacy
Well the only one I have been talking about ALL season long! I don't switch teams when mine gets beat out! We will find out that Carthage will be following suit just like gilmer after tonight. Like I said at the start of the season, who can give WOS competition? It aint the buckeyes!! Eagleborn
Ohhhh.... This is another thread about no one giving WOS any competition... Got confused about it being a crickets in East Texas thread.. My bad..
chukslegacy
WOS will face a tough competitor in Dallas. Sweetwater I believe has been overlooked! WOS better not overlook these guys for sure. But if WOS comes focused they will handle Sweetwater by 3 TD's. WOS defense is something else! 1WildCat
Been goin nuts the past few Friday night's watching our District mates get knocked out right and left. A far cry what we've been accustomed to the past three seasons. Gotta cherish it. Looks like it may be a while.
chukslegacy
No doubt about that! im sure most of you are hoping by sleeping late it was just a bad dream! There is always next year.
MattStepp
Tough night in East Texas for sure going 1-3; while a historic night in South Texas as they went 3-0 and West Texas where they went 3-0......everything runs in cycles...
Ringside
I have never heard of a high school program that wins state every year. Don't think there is one. WOS has a great team this year. Maybe next year somebody else will. I am hearing crows in the woods this morning. Maybe that is a bad omen for someone.
Stoney
I like crickets. That's good fish bait. Much better than a chartreuse worm run on a Carolina rig.
MUSTANGMANIA
Couldn't hear any crickets over the crows taking their last dying breath.
H3llR4z0r
Haha this is funny. Our region was uncharacteristically weak this year. Not sure it's going to get better next year on our end either. We lost a lot of talent this season.
CanAm
East Texas can help claim the title when WOS wins it. We can claim they are South EAST Texas. LOL Â The people up here in North EAST Texas can't even enjoy a playoff game without traveling 3 hours or more. Not fun!

But if WOS comes focused they will handle Sweetwater by 3 TD's. WOS defense is something else! The thread's title made me LOL. Act like you been here before man. In reality whether both teams end up with L's this weekend or if Carthage advances, truth is we're in the hunt EVERY year. If we don't get it this year we'll be right back the next. Some teams have to wait on special classes to come through (i.e. WOS), we don't . All of our classes are special and we realize we can't win every year but says a lot we're in the hunt. WOS is the best THIS season but let's see if it's consistent over the next 8-10 years.
KarnackKing
Must be tough to coach kids year in and year out that give you a chance to win it all every single year. Can't imagine having all that talent.
chukslegacy
CTOWN. Glad you saw some humor in this thread. I hope all goes well today for the dogs! I will be waiting to see the outcome. BTW.I haven't referred to next year or last year. I'm referring to what's happening right now and BTW Google WOS so you don't sound so uninformed. Just be thankful your dog's don't have to play WOS or they would get Mustang stomped.
ctown81
Did I miss some state titles somewhere other than last year. Don't think anyone disputes WOS being the best this year. Just saying I'd be shocked if they have the same success next year.
KarnackKing
I meant coaching all that talent in Beast Texas. You don't have to wait for special classes. You've got state championship teams every year. That must be tough to coach that. Winning titles every year and all.... or expecting/supposed to.
