15 Most Intelligent Sci-FI Films of All Time

Agree, and Blade Runner is visual poetry. I'm serious, it should be considered one of the greatest films of all time. Period. Not greatest sci-fi, greatest films.

Roy Batty's dying monologue is up there with Shakespeare. No hyperbole, it's that good.

I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.

I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.

All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...

Time to die.

Sends chills up my spine, every time. Just beautiful.

Are you human??? Is anyone human???

Right? I've seen it I don't know how many times, and it's never boring. Even though I know every line, every visual nuance, I still enjoy the ride.

They did a tribute to it on an episode of The Amerikans.......lol......

Was Harrison Ford human??? Was anyone human????

I never thought he was, even before Ridley Scott came out and said he wasn't. Too much seemed to be pointing to him as replicant... but I'm more intrigued by what kind of replicant he is? Who designed him? What's his lifespan? Who all knows that he's one?

I'd like for there to be a BR sequel. Maybe cast Harrison Ford as the "real" Deckhard that the replicant Deckhard was based on. Maybe make it like he was "cloned" without his permission, or something.
