Herman did make one change regarding his offensive staff, moving tight ends coach Corby Meekins from the press box to the sideline and putting passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer next to Beck upstairs. Horns247 noticed the move when Mehringer made his way to the press box from his usual spot on the field for the start of the second half.

But he could keep playing in the game lol.

Hey now, I'll have you know Texas has the latest and greatest concussion technology that can diagnose a concussion without fail in 60 seconds. Also, Herman and those doctors follow every protocol to a T!

The hit in question happened on the OKST sideline on the 3rd to last play of OT. He never came out of the game and the ref didn't stop the game for an injury.

He took a hit and got up a little slow. The kid is a football player. He plays with a toughness that every fan base wants to see their team play with.

In normal circumstances, the ref should have paused the game and talked to Sam to see if further evaluation was needed... I put that on the ref... and the hit could also help explain that horrible pass that ended the game... He didn't even launch it close to a Texas WR.

I read in the post game that Heard got pushed out of bounds and Sam was just trying to put some air under it and let someone make a play. But the only person who made a ay was the OSU defender.

Herman needs to start keeping his best players on the field.

9, 84, 17, 3 should get plenty of opportunities to catch the ball. 14 is a good wr and should get some time as well. When in the red zone there's no reason for 9 and 84 to be on the sideline. They are jumpvall mismatches. 8 is a possession receiver st best and can't beat out 9 or 84.

25 is goal line, short yardage or strictly screen game when not in those situations. He cannot stretch a defense.

The OL is a hindrance to what Herman wants to do so if he's worth his paycheck he'll find what he needs to do.
