DaveTV1
Thats a great list...but where is AC/DC's Back in Black?????? The first time I heard that cassette it was at Camp Pirtle, and I liked some of it. It sounded the same as usual from AC/DC, with no Bon Scott. DaveTV1
On the radio ... every ... five ... minutes !!! :D Bon Scott era > Brian Johnson era I agree, but I went what was in my cassette deck back in the day. I should substitute "E3C4PE" Journey for "Third Stage" but I listened to "Third Stage" more, and I guess I should substitute "Animalize" KISS for "Invasion of Your Privacy". DaveTV1
I'm thinking about reversing "Out of the Cellar" for "Invasion of Your Privacy" just because of this:

Stoney
^ Whats funny Dave and Cheapy is seeing the list of the guys who did this originally on their site. I'm not calling bull on it but if a 90s teen was listening to Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde and not Nirvana's Nevermind that's bull. AC/DC with Bon Scott was new and original with their sound. The Young's,AC/DC (when Brian Johnson joined) decided to become the formula band that ruled the 80s. The album titles and song titles may have changed but it was all basically the same song.
Mr. P
In chronological order: Hysteria by Def Leppard (1987) Appetite for Destruction by Guns N' Roses (1988) Achtung Baby by U2 (1991) Nevermind by Nirvana (1991) Ten by Pearl Jam (1991) Superunknown by Soundgarden (1991) Undertow by Tool (1993) The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails (1994) Dookie by Green Day (1994) Sublime by Sublime (1996) 1991 was the first year I had a regular job and enough money to buy my own cassette tapes (I didn't get a CD player until around 1994). A playa, walking with a limp and a cane. 12 Play was just about a perfect R&B album, I can't think of a weak song on there. R. Kelly coulda been legend material. A shame he turned out to be a pervert. Lethal Injection? Not bad, though I preferred Kill At Will. But you get hipster points for not citing Predator, a.k.a. the only Ice Cube album anyone seems to know.

I'd imagine more illegitimate Lil basturds have been conceived listening to Jodeci-forever my lady than just about any album I can think of. You got to remember during that time period 1990-1998 R&B was extremely popular with boys 2 men, jodeci, r kelly, poison, BBD, Rome, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, this list could go on forever. Imho, forever my lady was the perfect R&B album of that time period. Game changer. Everything that followed after that 1991? album was just chasing it's magic. Guest
I'd put Geto Boys right under UGK but that's just me. Today's be honest I think that was my first rap album. But ugk soon became my favorite. Got caught up in the west coast vibe after that. But Gheto Boys was huge for me early on.
