And you can count me among the chorus of doubters... when I first heard they were remaking this, I was very skeptical. I am no longer skeptical. While I read many of his books in High School, I didn't care for the language he used on almost every page. The only solid movie that was made that was even close sans the language was the ABC miniseries back in 1994. While it almost stayed true to the book it did leave out a few scenes.
