Oh, and then there's this: @FletcherWDSU: Stephen A. Smith reporting that if Carmelo Anthony receives a buyout from the NY Knicks, he'll head to Houston to join Harden and CP3. topher805
They need another superstar and it has to be in the frontcourt. Wanted Hayward, but that isn't going to happen. Maybe Millsap? I want absolutely no part of Carmelo. Maybe Aldridge comes? But it will seems like too many chiefs in that pow wow...
Coach Rab
That's a lot of mouths to feed with the way Harden likes to throw the ball at the rim...
Coach Rab
Houston should try to get someone like Mbah a Moute or Thaddeous Young if they want to be a real contender... those are guys that don't have to score and excel at Defense...
Valhalla
Deandre Jordan should feel the most irked. They basically locked him in a house to keep him from signing with Dallas and now all three of them (Paul, Blake, Reddick) will not be in LA next season.

Valhalla
"The relationship between Chris Paul and Doc Rivers began to deteriorate when the Los Angeles Clippers traded for Austin Rivers. Paul and other members of the Clippers felt Rivers didn't treat his son the same way as he did the rest of the players on the team. When Doc Rivers decided not to trade for Carmelo Anthony in a trade that would have included Austin Rivers, Paul's position on the matter solidified as he viewed the Rivers as putting family over team. "Chris despises Doc," said one league executive. This move also gives Paul the ability to become a free agent during the same offseason as LeBron James in 2018. The Clippers traded for Austin Rivers in 2015 and re-signed him in the 2016 offseason on a three-year, $35 million deal." http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/246546/Chris-Paul-Lost-Faith-In-Doc-Rivers-Due-To-How-He-Favored-Austin-Rivers-Over-Team

Do it like Golden State. They have 3 scorers and a stable of defenders and role players. I think that's where Cleveland messed up with Love. Get guys on the wing that hang with them. He choose dressing up in women's clothes and playing with CP3 was better than keeping his word. Too bad. I think Dallas came out ahead with Noel, Smith and Barnes instead.

MrBuddyGarrity
Boston won't trade for any star. They just like having "assets". Why trade for a rental? That's stupid. PG came out and said he wanna play for the Lakers, why be stupid and put trust in a player that came out and said that? Can't give up pieces for an unknown short term situation that's hustling backwards.
