WB is bipolar, we're not. It's a difference. Good luck the rest of the way.

Same to y’all, but I’m not worried about playing PAM. It’s better for us to play them instead of the Woodlands every year.

Yes, I have access to Dave Campbell's Texas Football website also.

Just looking at the list he has on the site, his numbers may be a little off.

Was wondering what percentage of the schools were reporting.

Does the UIL website have all the schools and numbers turned in listed somewhere?? Its a pain to keep looking back through the pages when I want to find a certain school...maybe someone with some time can consolidate all the schools and numbers turned in, that would be nice!!!

With the split in 5A, and how even the UIL is going to try and keep the two Divisions, I'm not sure anybody can accurately predict how this is all going to play out.

Have to agree with this. There's gonna be a lot of unknowns this realignment.

So who was closest last time in their prediction for the 2016-2018 cut off numbers, Stepp or Padilla???

They are both great dudes.

Padilla though, it seems like he actually works with the UIL sometimes with how accurate he is with numbers.

Carthage is lucky they had a high number at 794. I didn't expect them to project the bottom of 4a D1 at 785. If I would've seen that number, I would have guaranteed Carthage would move down to DII. Carthage was 754 last alignment. I don't think we have had any growth in the school, must just have some big classes. Maybe somebody can correct me if I am wrong in why the numbers went up. But I'm glad Carthage isn't going to move down, but they will be one of the smallest schools in D1 which is no different than it is now. In the smaller classes numbers don't matter as much IMO. Carthage can comepete with schools with 1,159 students no problem.
