Like the show, but not the long story arcs?

I get why they do it, though.

For instance, I really got into "Designated Survivor" last season, and started watching it again this season. The unfortunate thing is, it's one of those shows that has long story arcs. So if you miss an episode, you might miss something important that a "recap" might not cover.

I'm the same way with Doctor Who. I started watching fairly recently (say, within the last 6 or 7 years), so when they reference something that happened in the 70's, I miss it sometimes.

That's how I am with Stranger Things. I think a majority of 45+ minute shoes are like that. I have to make time and know that I'm going to sit and watch it or else I wont watch the episode. If you miss just a tad bit you'll be trying to play catch up.
