Mr. P
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-voters/in-pennsylvania-women-who-voted-for-trump-voice-support-after-first-year-idUSKBN1F90FT Quote The first year of Donald Trump’s unorthodox presidency may have been a dizzying ride, but Belinda Miller has never regretted voting for him in 2016. “My 401(k) and my 403 have soared, and if anybody doesn’t realize that, they’ve been asleep for a year,” said Miller, a 50-year-old emergency room nurse from Audubon, Pennsylvania, referring to her retirement accounts’ growth in a booming stock market. “I look overall not at what he says but what he does. All that other stuff is just rhetoric, smoke and mirrors,” she added. The Philadelphia suburb where Miller lives in Montgomery County was key to Trump’s surprising 2016 triumph. In a sign of its importance, his campaign dispatched his daughter Ivanka to the region late in the race to woo women there. In interviews with more than half a dozen Trump supporters in the region, mostly women, his backers remained largely committed to him, citing his immigration policies and a belief that tax reform will create jobs amid a growing economy. Many of them were unfazed by Trump’s combative style and provocative language.

For the very first time, I had the opportunity to attend the March for Life in Washington, D.C. The crowds were massive — it’s the largest annual human rights march in the world — and the people were cheerful, warm, and full of joy. The theme of the event was, fittingly: "love saves lives." Families proudly pushed their babies with Down syndrome — an abnormality we, as a society, are urgently told to dispose of — in their strollers with smiles on their faces; former abortion clinic workers held signs proclaiming that life matters; teens chanted about their love for babies and held clever and playful signs; single mothers boasted of the children they chose to keep thanks to pro-life pregnancy centers and religious organizations; a Congresswoman told the masses of the miracle birth of her daughter who was supposed to die upon delivery; and the faithful said prayers aloud in unison and sang church hymns. In stark contrast, just one day later, feminists and their soy latte-drinking allies took to the streets for the Women’s March. (I was not in D.C. to catch the official march, but I was in NYC, which held a large Women's March gathering.) The women were a combination of young virtue-signaling non-victims who long to see themselves as victims, and their elders: women who have followed the rules of feminism and ended up in despair; scorned, alone, and angry. Apparently, not getting the memo to #resist transphobia, there were more than enough women rocking so-called "###### hats" to make you want to vomit. Their vulgar signs — many depicting the poop emoji with Trump's hair, vaginas, and penises — and chants called for President Donald Trump’s impeachment for various reasons, none of which were compelling nor grounded in reality and facts. The theme of the event, from what I could gather: buck democracy and oust our duly elected president and kill as many babies as possible in the name of Feminism. Mind you, this march was toned-down dramatically from last year, when Madonna spoke about her dreams of blowing up the White House and Ashley Judd engaged in painful slam-poetry about her period (among other nonsense). Wild74
This says it all As a Republican Party member, Baldwin was state chairman of the Florida Moral Majority in the 1980s. However, during the 2000 campaign of Republican George W. Bush for U.S. President, Baldwin left the party and began a long period of criticism of Bush. Baldwin endorsed U.S. Representative Ron Paul for the 2008 Republican nomination for president, and Paul in turn endorsed Baldwin for the presidency in the 2008 general election. Wild74
His attack on Christian men is quite ignorant What a large percentage of Christian men really love is sports, the Zionist State of Israel, and Republican presidents (and secretly pornography). Listen to the conversations of Christian men in the hallways of the churches of America before and after the services, and what is the dominate discussion? You KNOW what it is: sports. And say something critical about Zionist Israel, and those same Christian men will accuse you of denying the Christian faith. But what a large percentage of Christian men REALLY love and worship is Republican presidents. My question does he have some special insight about secret pornography ? Also how many hallways has Chuckles been in that he heard sports is the dominate theme being discussed. Seems to me to be a big time hypocrite judging people with a very broad stroke. 1

Those I listen to mention pornography, fornication , adultery, drug abuse, theft, lying, etc, etc. etc. and yes those are things Christians continue to do...a pastor of a church found to be sleeping with women in the congregation, any number of fleshly activities. I recall a sermon by a Baptist preacher long ago when the Cowboys were America's team that he sensed the congregation was anxiously waiting the end of the service so they could rush home and turn on the playoff game that day. I also recall a sermon in a Baptist church one time that sort of floored me in a way, the first thing the guy said was he knew good and well there were people sitting in the pews that morning that did not deserve to be there because the night before they were out in the bars, sleeping with other men's wives etc. etc. I had not done that the night before yet thought to myself what the hell? I'm here because I am a sinner. I need some sound Biblical preaching today, the reason I'm here. No big deal my friend. I figured someone would get jerked. lol You can't assume that my pastor never mentioned pornography he does all the time in certain sermons, but Independant Baptist sometimes tend to get into the judgement mode instead of the salvation mode. Also I have been both Southern and for a short time Independent.

Wild74
26 minutes ago, SideTracker said: So Baldwin is not supposed to mention it? Thanks. From what I gather listening to various preachers (oops, comma) pornography is quite prevalent among church attending Christians. That is from the preachers that don't preach the feel good stuff but the cold hard facts. I'm not addicted to pornography and never have cared for those that participate. To me those types are similar to those that suffer from inferiority complex. It's a sickness and it is prevalent even in your congregation I would bet. 1970's I watched Debbie Does Dallas, screwed my girlfriend and thank God was never addicted beyond that point. lol. No, my bad it was Deep Throat I watched with the girlfriend. Unfortunately I have seen both of them in New Orleans, was young and single and porn was mostly outlawed except in the bigger city, dingy dirty little walk in movie house. I don't think Baldwin was preaching, he was judging one particular sin, there is many more that I can think of.
