Longhorns 2018 Thread

My only response on this thread will be, the numbers tell differently. If this were true, I’m pretty sure Jefferson goes higher. A kid with top 5 pick measurables and test numbers falls to the 3rd rd....

Im simply saying there hasn’t been near enough actual production for this sort of statement to be made imo. There have been what, 6 players drafted from Herman teams? I just feel like if this were true, you’d see more drafted and higher. The knock on Malik is he’s soft and injury prone, yet he’s a tough nfl ready player and falls to third rd with those measurables? This statement just doesn’t fit the current product is all I’m saying.

Jefferson was not real good as a soph or freshman. (He showed flashes of greatness, but also was very inconsistent). He really needed to show anoth year of production and I think that’s the reason he fell

Nope but I know a little about arrogance of Texas fans  and trolls like well you know .... Texas would never do that :airquote:

You just said they were fitting it to their agenda. So are they changing the quote or using it as it was stated?  Let us know since you seem to.  Using an NFL GM’s quote is promoting your program imo.  If that’s what you call arrogance then every school out there that promotes their brand is arrogant.  It seems you look through maroon tint and spoonfeed Aggie #### too

Texas's future non-conference schedules:

2019: LSU

2020: at LSU

2021: at Arkansas

2022: Alabama

2023: at Alabama

2024: at Michigan

2025: Ohio State

2026: at Ohio State

2027: Michigan

No regional rivalry needed when you’re scheduling like that

2019- LSU will either be with a new HC or with a terrible one....

2020- LSU will for sure be entering with a new HC and a down team

2021- Arkansas would have failed again as a team and Chad Morris would be on his way out...

2022- Saban retired 2 years ago and Bama is on the down swing

2023- Even worse Tide team than 2022

2024- Michigan is still the 4th best B10 team

2025- Urban fakes a heart attack in July and leaves the team.

2026- JT Barrett comes back as the savior Offensive Coordinator after Asst Head Coach Ed O takes over the team.

2027- More of the same Michigan.

looks like Texas scheduled down to me...

Out of all those scenarios, this one is perhaps the most realistic if you ask me.

Sarcasm for u Aggie guys that want to play Texas

I don’t think it really bothers any Aggies if Texas plays a game on thanksgiving night. None that I’ve met at least.

That has been needed. She did great things at Texas but it was time to move on.

That is a polite way to say that Del Conte told her that her services were no longer needed.
