Heard he punched a coach . Better off than with guys like that.

That's the rumor.  I've said before he has all the traits you want for a LT.  Raw, but the talent/skill is there.  This recruitment will have some more drama, starting to think he may end up being a huge bust.  If he can't take high school coaching, he wont last a minute under a Herb Hand or Jim Turner.  I'm honestly at the point where if he ends up at Texas then fine, but I'm not going to lose sleep if he bails.

Texas S recruit from Plano East Tyler Owens got a huge ratings boost on 247

Tyler Owens - "Owens possesses one of the more unique size/speed profiles in the 2019 cycle with blazing track times (including a 10.34 second 100 meter time) on a 6-foot-2, 202-pound frame. Twitchy athleticism and length are critical factors at safety and Owens has them in spades. Those traits are translating on the field as a senior and manifesting themselves by way of top notch striking ability and closing speed." - Power

He is now rated the 5th best safety in the country by 247 and a composite 4*.

He is the most recent 🤫.  TFB thinks he'll go public with it no later than early October.
