KildogDad
Carthage (until further notice) Kilgore (they're slinging the rock ALOT) Van (most consistent team behind Carthage) Henderson (seems to be coming into shape) Palestine (scored at least 4 TDs in every game) Chapel Hill (Argyle aside, they've scored a bunch in their other two games)

Kilgore qb is very legit can't wait until district so Kilgore can open up that playbook even more. I think the coaches are still moving personnel around on Defense because everytime I look up there is a different player in the Kilgore secondary. I know fresh legs are very important right now with how hot it is but I don't know how Kilgore continues to get beat with the long td passes on 3rd and very long or 4th and long. When everyone in the stadium knows a pass is coming. I will say tonight the Kilgore Defense got the bad end of the stick they were on the field a lot and were put into some very bad field positions and battled the best they could. They were totally exhausted come the 4th quarter and into OT. If Kilgore could cut the mistakes out they will be winning a lot of games this year and could be playing for awhile. One game at a time

I could see Argyle #1 but it really doesn't matter. I think as of right now them and Carthage are evenly matched.
Champ1000
Carthage vs Gilmer Henderson vs Center Kilgore vs Texas High Bullard @ Chapel Hill Palestine @ Fairfield Van vs Pitt Most competitive looks like Kilgore Most lopsided probably either Henderson or Carthage Most likely loss Palestine Chapel Hill should beat Bullard. 4-1 or 5-0 depending on Palestine
Vandalman
I'm on the fence with the Palestine game, and the Kilgore game might be close but I think I'll just bet on our district and say 6 wins.

Champ1000
Kinda suprised Van only won 7-0 . Great defense or bad Offense? Carthage not blowing out Gilmer is good for them. Keeps them focused at the task at hand. Henderson and Chapel Hill got expected wins. Palestine got a impressive wins. As of right now. Carthage Kilgore Henderson Chapel Hill Van Palestine

Carthage Kilgore Henderson Chapel Hill Van Palestine Van has the injury bug. Starting qb was out last night too. They brought the JV qb up to start his 1st varsity game on homecoming night. Lot to ask of a sophomore but he stepped up and did a fine job considering the load he had to carry with such short notice. Playbook was just a little limited. Pitt's defense was pretty good too.

Sorry don't see it yet. And some people don't know it because they've never played Celina but Kilgore would whip the field with them. Way too much speed difference.
