I would hope so you are playing someone that couldn't beat Chapel Hill however if that magical rain happens then .......

Seriously I never heard of this team before so I highly doubt they break the streak. MH, Vega, Arygle someone like that will.

The 2016 team broke me from ever counting Carthage out... This team reminds me of that team, so I’m staying with them all the way to JerryWorld.

Life does not look bad on film.  They run an offense like PG with lots of motion in the backfield.  I expect a similar game plan on Thurs to what we saw from PG.  Slow and methodical running the play clock down to 5 seconds or less.  Their problem is they don’t have much of a passing threat at QB or WR that I could see.  They only throw the ball about 10 times per game.  They have 10 TD’s and 8 INT’s on the year.  They have a few athetes but most of the kids just look like avg high school football players.  If they were in D12 I bet you they would be District Champs this year.

I still get anxiety thinking about the 2016 team!

3 out of four a'int bad. Carthage rolls in rd 2. I dont think Lumberton is as good as Crandall so I expect Henderson to win by 14+. Van has a tough one against Splendora but the Vandals can get it done.

Yea Splendora is tough, and I think Lumberton maybe tougher then Crandall.

Carthage fans have been spoiled so much when Capps struggled to begin the game against Life Waxahachie with an interception and another that should’ve intercepted we all had it in our minds that he was off or way off.

Well, he made the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week Watchlist that FSSW just aired. Capps passed for 300 yards and 5 touchdowns.....and he was “off” Thursday night..His being off truly only last the first two series and he got into gear after that.

Let’s hope that was the last “off” game this year.  As we continue the path forward the margin for error is smaller.

In Maxpreps Power Rankings ... Crandall is #24 and Lumberton is #48.   As kind of a comparison Kilgore is #28, Palestine is #31, and Chapel Hill is #53.  So not supposed to be as good as Crandall by quite a bit, a good bit worse than Kilgore & Palestine, and a little better than CH.

Okay
