Arkansas and Bama fans should already know where to go... home...

but overall, the post football fans (the ones that support all of the sports) are way more hospitable than the football tailgating group

Yeah some were saying football was a little more intense, which makes sense lol. The student section got in a little trouble Saturday night haha

The Box is nice...

you should come to the Sunday games vs TCU @TCU... they have $1 hot dogs, free ice cream and a bunch of other stuff for “Kids Day”

Yeah it was a really great park.

Usually I'm at the DBU game on Sundays, but I'll make it out there for a Sunday game when we are traveling. TCU has a cool ballpark. Always enjoy watching games there.

A&M gives up a grand slam in the 9th..... And still wins 9-7. Frisco classic this weekend!

LSU lost to Southeastern 5-4. Midweek games can be that way.

LSU lost a ton of Tues/Wed games last season if I remember correctly

Yeah, I'm wanting to say they lost to McNeese or something. A&M has lost to SFA, DBU, SHSU, UT RGV... Just to name a few. Tuesday games are just that. And baseball is funny that way.

The Southland Conference did very well against power programs during midweek games last year. McNeese, Sam Houston, Southeastern, and Lamar all knocked off some big boys last year. Very underrated conference for baseball...

They haven't wasted time this year. McNeese beat #21 Mississippi State last night and Southeastern edged LSU.

Mississippi State better bounce back quick with the Minute Maid Classic this week. SHSU, Houston, and Louisiana will be tough.

Mississippi State has all sorts of internal issues. They were getting SLAUGHTERED by Southern Miss in the first series, I think. Southern Miss is good, but Mississippi State has no business losing 2 of 3 to them, much less getting swept and blown out by them. Then they fired their coach after that series. There's a lot of baseball left to be played, but they're in a really rough spot right now. They have great players so they can beat anyone, but they need to figure things out.

Sam Houston always plays A&M tough, it seems. They beat us like 5-0 in 2016 and beat us last year something like 8-2. Coach Deggs is one of the best in the business. And before him, Coach Johnson was a very solid coach as well.

Texas has a tough 6 game stretch. It begins tonight with a 4 game series vs #7 Stanford in Austin. After a day of rest on Monday the Horns head North for a 2 gamer vs #5 Arkansas.

Bout to find out a lot about this team, especially the midweek starting pitching.

Big win for Texas! The Horns threw their freshman mid week starter in Nico O'Donnell against Stanfords ace and the #25 college prospect.

Nico was strong through 4 but left in the 5th after a 2 run HR and a single before he was relieved. The bullpen went the rest of the way and the offense responded to every Stanford score. The Texas offense scored one in the first 5 frames and put up a 3 spot in the 7th.

Thr defense which failed Texas in the LSU series was lights out at home vs the Cardinal. Game 2 tonight as Texas' ace Nolan Kingham takes the mound on his usual Friday night!
