It's going to be a tough fight with the Yankees and Astros.  I think the Astros have the better pitching lineup if they can stay healthy.  If they don't then I can see the Yankees taking it.  It's good being both of there fans for the next several years if the Astros will spend to keep this team together.

Only real disagreement is barring injury I can't see how Verlander wouldn't win more than 12 games. And IMO McCullers has never shown ability to stay on the field enough to win 16

If McCullers can stay healthy and hit his potential I think he can get there.

12 wins for Verlander is my floor.

I really wanted to put Bregman down as a 30/30 guy but I don’t think Hinch would let him run that much.

That’s gonna be a fun series to watch.

For Texas to have had a chance to even compete for the wild card this year, JD needed to have ownership open up and he pocketbooks. That didn’t happen. That ain’t gonna happen during the season either. Davis got his new stadium built by the tax payers. Who needs a top 10 payroll or a competitive team now? Injuries are the only chance that Texas will have to catch Houston. I’m talking a biblical plague the likes of Moses and Egypt would have to befall the field of Orange Juice.
