Rick Pitino Offered Head Coaching Job by New Zealand Breakers

I would think long and hard about that offer. Nobody in the NCAA is going to touch him, and I don't think the NBA will take a chance on him either. Go to the beach and collect a paycheck...

or lay at home and get fat off of the millions you have already made

New Story || John Calipari made his biggest recruiting pitch of the year yesterday, and it was an unusual one for him: He told Kevin Knox and his dad why a potential NBA lottery pick should come back to Kentucky. (And it might've worked.) https://t.co/SoOaKn8meV

He's not the only one thinking about returning, but I think SGA still goes, but again he's postponed his decision once again.

If Cal tells someone to not go pro when they have the chance to, they better listen.  He is never one to ask a kid to not pursue their dreams.  He is basically telling this kid, if you come back, you will be ready to make more money and improve your draft stock and game in the process... and possibly add some bling.

Kentucky has four top-40 freshmen coming in, three McDonald's All-Americans. Elite PG, SG, wing and PF. Plus likely 5-6 returning 5-stars across three classes. Cats should be legit FF contenders. https://t.co/OKrShdET28

EJ Montgomery commits to UK this morning!!!!!!!!

Hagans is the wildcard, if he commits and re-classifies lookout!

Kentucky lands its second five-star recruit within the last 24 hours in Class of 2019 PG Ashton Hagans. https://t.co/jCDwzuTMHj

How's this for a point guard mentality? Hagans decided to pick UK over the weekend. Was ready to announce Monday, but waited because he wanted EJ Montgomery to have his own day https://t.co/WYzEh8QQnc

He will reclassify. Its on now!!!!  Mark my words: Its Banner Nine Time in Lex!

Get ready, we're about to add another star: https://www.aseaofblue.com/college-basketball-recruiting/2018/4/10/17219682/john-calipari-swaggy-ej-montgomery-ashton-hagans

Texas is looking good for the top prospect in Missouri. #8 PG in the country Courtney Ramey. It's down to Texas, Louisville, and Missouri.

If Roach decides to stay in the draft this becomes a must win this recruiting battle for Shaka. Ramey can play 2 guard with Coleman and run the point when Coleman needs a breather.

Per Jason Marcum

Interesting this comes out right after UK offered Jalen Lecque, another 2019 guard who could reclassify. Maybe UK ends up with Hagans/Lecque in 2018 and Maxey in 2019 https://t.co/irsMmME67e

UK might be loaded in 2018 AND 2019. Cal trying for his victory lap before he retires in a couple years.

ACC coaches propose expanding the NCAA tournament to 72 teams https://t.co/cNJpgiC34Q via @TheAthleticCBB https://t.co/XdW8X4Pc6P

ACC basketball coaches recommend NCAA tourney to expand from 68 to 72 teams, widen the lane & move 3-point line back. They do not favor changing from halves to four quarters.

72 teams in the tourney? 🤔🤔🤔 https://t.co/72NT7TcG8Z

Yay! Glad to see the last place ACC/Big East teams will get in. Everyone was really hoping to see Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh dancing

64 teams were enough before. 68 is too many. 72 is flat out ridiculous. I hate this everyone gets a trophy generation.

ACC is looking at it for revenue... they may get another 1-2 teams in with it expanded to 72...  that is worth quite a bit of $$
