Wild74
5 years seems a little to much. Maybe a year and a big fine. Now the tax payers have to pay for her prison time.
Monte1076
Well, there was a proposition on the Republican primary ballot to make voter fraud a felony. I don't know if it'll be on the general ballot in November, but it passed with flying colors. Are there minimum jail terms for felonies?
Coach Rab
Yes. 1 year to 10 years depending on the felony if I remember correctly

Mr. P
POLL: Democrats lose ground with millennials Quote Although nearly two of three young voters polled said they do not like Republican President Donald Trump, their distaste for him does not necessarily extend to all Republicans or translate directly into votes for Democratic congressional candidates. That presents a potential problem for Democrats who have come to count on millennials as a core constituency - and will need all the loyalty they can get to achieve a net gain of 23 seats to capture control of the U.S. House of Representatives in November. Acadia Spear, 18, of Portsmouth, said she would likely vote for a Democrat, but her peers nationally are increasingly looking to Republicans for economic leadership, according to the Reuters/Ipsos poll. Millennials are almost evenly split this year over the question of which party has a better plan for the economy, with 34 percent picking the Democrats and 32 percent choosing Republicans. That’s a shift from two years ago, when they said Democrats had the better plan by a 12-point margin. We all talk a lot of smack about the Millenials (and in a lot of ways they deserve it), but let's look at the demographic data: at this point most of them are 20-30 years old. They're starting to reach that threshold most of us reach where we realize that many of the pie-in-the-sky economic policies don't work in the real world. Especially those in flyover country. Many of them came of age in the Obama era, and feel burned by broken promises, "hopey changey" wool-gathering, weaponized outrage, and indifference to the shrinking middle class. Granted, I'm not saying they're all gonna turn into Republicans or anything (believe me, I've got my own issues with the GOP) but the tendency as you get older is to become more conservative. If he continues to have enough wins, Trump could steal enough of the middle-leaning Millenials to overcome whatever annoyances they have with his bluster, gaffes, and Tweeting. Especially if all the Dems manage to field in '20 is Zombie Hillary, Obama-lite, or crazy Uncle Joe.

Yeah, insert that old quote about being liberal when young, conservative when you're old, etc. It's a lot easier to support liberal economic policies when you don't have any skin in the game.

CENTEXFAN
Back on topic. As long as Democratic party is focused on Russia and pornstars, and not on everyday issues that affect everyday lives. The blue wave will transition in to a wave of tears in 2018. Which event is affecting people more, teachers walking out ( mainly in red states ) or Stormy Daniels ? The cost of prescription medicine or Russia ? Leave it to the Democrats to snatch defeat out of jaws of victory just like 2016. 1
