As long as Democratic party is focused on Russia and pornstars, and not on everyday issues that affect everyday lives.  The blue wave will transition in to a wave of tears in 2018.  Which event is affecting people more, teachers walking out (mainly in red states) or Stormy Daniels ?  The cost of prescription medicine or Russia?  Leave it to the Democrats to snatch  defeat out of jaws of victory just like 2016.

We all talk a lot of smack about the Millenials (and in a lot of ways they deserve it), but let's look at the demographic data: at this point most of them are 20-30 years old. They're starting to reach that threshold most of us reach where we realize that many of the pie-in-the-sky economic policies don't work in the real world. Especially those in flyover country. Many of them came of age in the Obama era, and feel burned by broken promises, "hopey changey" wool-gathering, weaponized outrage, and indifference to the shrinking middle class.

Granted, I'm not saying they're all gonna turn into Republicans or anything (believe me, I've got my own issues with the GOP) but the tendency as you get older is to become more conservative. If he continues to have enough wins, Trump could steal enough of the middle-leaning Millenials to overcome whatever annoyances they have with his bluster, gaffes, and Tweeting. Especially if all the Dems manage to field in '20 is Zombie Hillary, Obama-lite, or crazy Uncle Joe.

It’s going to be hard to sell the 24+ crowd free college next election 😂

Well, your other option is to try to dupe them into voting for your failed economic policies and your disastrous healthcare plans while convincing them that you’re going to protect them from the big bad middle aged white men who want control of their uterus. That worked so well for you in ‘16.

What happens at 26 ?  They get kicked off mommies and daddies health care.  Then they will get shocked by cost of health care, and how little it covers.

Just tell them they can keep their doctor. What could go wrong?  :woot:

When could you ever keep your doctor ?  Your insurance gave you a list of doctors that took your insurance.  If your doctor wasn't on it, too bad.  You had to pick another.

Should they get to stay on mommy and daddy’s insurance till they’re 40?

Nope, just stating that they will get a reality check in the health care market.  Had a kid in college last week ask me where he could get health care for 30 or 40 dollars a month.  His clinicals in college required health care coverage.  We all rolled laughing.

The tax cut for the  middle class was eaten up by higher insurance premiums and higher gas prices.  When was the last time gas jumped up to around 4 dollars a gallon ?  The last time a Republican was president in 2006/07.  Expect the same with Trump.  Health care is now Trumpcare.  He sabotaged health care by taking away mandatory health care, but left the part were insurance have to cover pre-existing conditions.  That really drove premiums sky high.  What is the final Republican/Trump plan ?  They don't have one.  Republicans have all three branches of govt.   They could cram a plan down the throat of America.  Democrats have a plan it is called follow the European model.  They pay less and get better health care.

Democrats have a plan called SOCIALISM, which has failed everywhere its been tried. I have repeatedly schooled you on this, but evidently you had brain surgery while in Europe, which must have damaged your cerebral cortex to the point that you can no longer absorb quality information. However, there is hope for you. Here in the good old USA, there are still some providers who actually work for a profit, and given enough time, may be able to fix the damage that Yourapeeins did to the inside of your noggin. Perhaps you should look into them. It’s worth a shot. You got yourself into this mess by trusting your healthcare to the lowest bidder.

You have schooled no one.  All you have done is show your arrogant ignorance. You know people like yourself who have done nothing been nowhere, but know everything.  More people have to die in America before people wise up especially the old ones set in their ways.  I have family members in both the ER and who work for the insurance companies.  The one who is a trauma nurse in Boulder, CO vacationed in Tokyo, Japan.  She toured one of their trauma centers.  She thought the gap was small between Japan and American medical facilities, but it is a huge gap.  Japan has the newest most updated technology.  American trauma centers has to make sure insurance companies will pay for the new technology.  If nobody could afford them insured or not, why would you even have the newest and best equipment.

I don't think you want to compare infant mortality rate with England or any other modern country, or that rate life expectancy.  America's life expectancy rate has fallen the last couple of years.  The only modern country to do so.

Did you seriously just bring up infant mortality? The British healthcare system just forced a couple to let their critically ill infant son starve to death because they refused to pay for treatment. That’s why only stupid people support government run healthcare .

Had a woman at work a couple of years ago, a dishwasher, lost both (twins ) due to a miscarriage.  Couldn't afford healthcare.  You keep bringing up just one case when we have thousands of cases were insurance companies will not pay to keep people alive.  Profit over people.  It is the American way.  Isn't that the Christian way .  Is it ?

If you really want to make this a religious debate we can go there, but I can assure you you’re bringing a pea shooter to a tank battle. You would be much better served to stick to your worn out liberal talking points. But before you bore us with your #makeeuropegreatagain nonsense, answer me this: considering how disastrous everything governments touches is, why would anyone in their right mind trust the government to oversee and administrate their relationship with their doctors?

You must be Joaquin's village idiot.  You have never answered this question on Nixon's leaked tapes on how the current American Health Care system.  Key part on this is where he admits that less care equals more profit.

It’s funny that you think the government will see it any differently. A single payer plan only serves to force the provider (government) make decisions as to who they treat and who they don’t. After all, the money will eventually run out. But I digress. I do agree with you on one thing. The current mess that our nation faces is the fault of the GOP. You can’t blame the democrats for cramming proven failures of liberal ideas down the throats of the American people. As I’ve said before, if I all of a sudden decided that my 9 year old yard dog needed to be an inside dog, is it her fault when she 💩 on the floor? No. It’s mine, because I brought her in the house. She’s not housebroken. In 2004, we gave the goppers the White House, the senate, and the house. They could have passed conservative measures to help keep healthcare costs under control. They could have made the Bush tax cuts permanent. There were a number of things that could have been done to continue the successes of Bush’s first term. Instead, we got a social security privatization plan and four more years of war. By 2006, conservatives were tired of empty promises and we stayed home, thus letting the unhouse broken democrats back in the house, and predictably, they crapped all over the floor. So, I guess we’ve found some common ground.

But...that didn't happen for a lot of people, did it?

The great exodus out of America’s blue cities

wtRjmYW.jpg

Quote

With between up to 50 percent of their paycheck going to a combination of federal, local and city taxes, not including other consumer taxes baked into every aspect of their consumer practices, residents don’t even have the comfort of knowing that their tax expenditures are going to the improvement of their lives in the city. New York infamously misuses the hard-earned tax revenues of its citizens in ways that scarcely benefit them.

And make no mistake: What’s happening in the Big Apple is a microcosm of what’s happening in the nation’s blue states, cities and towns. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago — the places where power and capital have traditionally congregated — have become so over-regulated, so overpriced and mismanaged, and so morally bankrupt and soft on crime that people are leaving in droves

The cost of popular moving truck services, like U-Haul, is largely created through the ironclad rules of supply and demand. Turns out, there is much higher demand for trucks leaving high-tax blue states heading to low-tax red states than vice versa.

A route from California to Texas, for example, is more than twice as expensive as a route from Texas to California. Want to go from Los Angeles to Dallas? $2,558. Returning back? $1,232. Texas is the No. 1 state people move trucks to, with states like Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina and Colorado rounding out the top 10. The states people are fleeing? New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois — and at the top, California.

A guy on a radio station I was listening to the other day made a great point:

He's talked to a number of people who say they're Democrats who have moved to Texas from more liberal states. He says that problem is they all say they love the schools, property values, etc., but they don't like the politics.

So unfortunately, what happens is they start voting for the very policies they moved to get away from!!

https://www.dailywire.com/news/30160/pulse-nightclub-survivor-shares-story-ive-found-amanda-prestigiacomo

A survivor from the devastating terror attack in Orlando, Florida, at gay nightclub, Pulse, says he has found Jesus as his personal savior and is no longer gay......"Going through old pictures of the night of Pulse, I remember my struggles of perversion, heavy drinking to drown out everything and having promiscuous sex that led to HIV. My struggles were real !" he recalled. "The enemy had its grip, and now God has taken me from that moment and has given me Christ Jesus."-- .......I know who I am and I am not defined with who the enemy says I use to be - but who Christ Jesus says I am.".......

The survivor is set to speak at an upcoming event for Freedom March on May 5 in Washington, D.C.

"The event bills itself as a 'celebration of freedom from homosexuality and transgenderism,'" notes NBC News. "The event's organizers have partnered with Voice of the Voiceless, a religious group whose mission is 'to defend the rights of former homosexuals, individuals with unwanted same-sex attraction, and their families,' according to its website."

I have always wonder who these people are who can just up and move. I understand if you can transfer within a company to another state but just to up and move without already having a job. I have to think they have found another job and decided to move because of the taxes
