LeBron James to the Rockets? Here's how it could happen this summer

I've seen a couple of these articles. It's like Allen in the Hangover counting cards at the Blackjack table. Too many moving parts.

Pretty much.

If Lebron wants to be a Rocket then he will be a Rocket.

Wouldn't surprise me, it's a lil different this time around, last time he left his sons had started school already and stayed in Ohio that first yr he was with the Heat, I got the feeling he was moving his fam to Cali this yr regardless of what happened in Cleveland based on a September bleacher report I read awhile back about him and the wife looking for schools for both his sons.

EDIT: Couldn't find the BR article but this one pretty much sums up what I read back then

Thought he put the Woodlands house up for sale couple months ago??

You are correct. Didn't realize how much real estate the dude owns. He has made north of $16 million selling off three properties in the last couple of years. He still has one home in Calabasas still...

That is a really weird and toxic situation. Not really sure who is at fault, but it is time for Kawhi to move on I think. The damage is done...

Fault lies with both parties IMO.

I've need seen a star player that wanted to leave San Antonio until last yr with Aldridge, now this. I'm starting to think Pop will either retire in a few weeks or announce this upcoming season is his last.

It is already basically out there that Pop is done after the 2020 Olympics.

“Trading Ingram, Kuzma, Josh Hart, the no. 25 pick, and Luol Deng’s salary for Leonard, as NBA salary cap expert Albert Nahmad suggested, would still leave the Lakers with enough open salary cap space to sign LeBron James and Paul George to max contracts.”

That is the move to give Lebron a team to really challenge Golden State.

If there was any team that could take Ainge to the cleaners, it would be the Spurs...I dont think LA has what SA wants...Philly is another team that will make things interesting

Jaylen Brown and the next 2 first round picks. I wouldn't give up more than that. Knowing Ainge he probably told them Brown for Kawhi straight up when they were in talks before in which the Spurs never replied back to Ainge. Ainge wont give up the future for a one yr rental.
