Lots of rain last night. Looks like it’s still on. Haven’t heard any different. Sun and wind today and tomorrow with no more rain!!!! Should dry the fields out nicely. May be a little wet this morning though. Let’s play ball.

The rain really hurt the turn out as many teams dropped out. Fields were wet saturday morning so the remaining 16-17 (I think) teams,  played only pool games on Saturday evening when the fields dried out.  Bracket play was on Sunday. When it was all said and done, Lovelady beat Joaquin for the championship at about 8:30 Sunday night. Hats off to Jim and the rest of the crew for working endlessly to make the most of the situation. They did a great job considering the conditions.
