Waskom JV scored once against Joaquin 3rd team defense, Waskom 2nd O scored once against Joaquin 2nd D. Neither 1st O scored in the controlled scrimmage. The “live half” ended 7-7. Waskom scored on their 1st possession on a 1 yard fullback dive set up by a 58 yard pass. After a 3-n-out, Waskom drove back down the field and turned it over on downs at the Joaquin 14. Joaquin drove back down the field and scored on a 26 yard screen pass from Trenton Ramsey to Conner Bragg. Definitely a much better showing for the Rams than the Logansport scrimmage.

I liked how we controlled the ball for 8:30 minutes on 1st drive, and really didn't get that far downfield, we will have some long time-consuming drives this season

Howd yall look overall in you opinion

Much better than last week. Offense moved the ball fairly easy then would make a bone head play. The freshman are going to be mismatches for defenses for the next four years. Running game will be stout when the option starts getting mixed in.

Front 7 on defense is solid. DBs got some work to do.

Half of the roster is freshman and sophomores. Future is bright.

Sounds good. Especially against SH. Everyone has them as a solid 4a team this year.

We really need to see more explosive plays out of Bragg and Gates, but both of the teams we’ve scrimmaged have been pretty salty on defense. But we’re taking a lot more positives out of this week than we did last week.

Yeah, lost a long run by one of those, due to holding

How’d Spring Hill look overall?

Good considering they are outmatched physically at every position.  They will outwork and compete with anyone though.

Lots of work to do before district.

Getting some injured players back will help.

Injuries our big for us too. We need OL help and some that are out are OL.

Yalls WRs will for sure catch it when it’s near them.
