It's like the old Dallas on steroids ...ranch. I like the idea of branding your employees and family members, not just the cattle ... Going to be a long break between now and then. I have all of the episodes recorded. The character that Costner plays is not his usual type. He plays it well though. i really like the daughter on there, she is one tough, conniving woman! Wouldn't want to cross her. The younger son, Casey is a tough character also; one not to be messed with. Meh, on the attorney son. I also really like the main ranch hand Flip. All of the characters are complex in dealing with loyalty and morality when it comes to how to support that loyalty and doing what they think is right. I say kill him off The Ranch Foreman is Rip, not Flip ... lol I like how they hung the City Slicker developer ... Partly because I hear it is a good show, but more importantly because Whiskey Meyers is prominently featured in the show and it's nice to support the hometown kids...
