Alto RB has to be at about 40 carries.  Only RB left.

Radio just said 37 carries for 342 yards and 5 TD's.

Player of the week on offense.. You heard it here first.. Lol.

Thoughts/analysis of this game?

Alto played pretty bad over all, and way to many penalties. Better get their heads back on straight before next week. New Diana played hard and fought to the end, some times literally. A win is a win!!!

Alto got more than they expected.   Eagles are improving each week especially for a young team.

That's great to hear!!

This game was a testament of conditioning. Particularly Vidarious High. Came into this game expected to carry the entire load on the ground and did just that. With Thacker serving a suspension, and Skinner out with staff in one of his eyes (verified), it was a heck of an effort for the young man. Not sure of the exact stats yet but somewhere around 40 for 365. Skinner’s absence hurt us a lot more than in the backfield. It basically prevented us from being able to rotate our LB’s as we usually have thus far, forcing that unit to tote more of a load, and once again, the rigorous conditioning program these boys have endured had them able to sustain that strain. I am VERY excited about what these boys are about to do this season. If we hit the playoffs able to use everything we have, anybody can get it.

From the Jacksonville Daily Progress:

DIANA — Vi'Dareous High was a one man wrecking crew on Friday night when Alto hammered New Diana 32-14 at Eagle Stadium.

High carried 39 times for 377 yards (9.66 yards per carry) in a career performance.

The Mean Sting (3-0) led 18-0 at halftime and steadily pulled a way in the second half behind the running of High.

The game was delayed around 20 minutes at the start by lightning in the area, but that didn't seem to phase Alto at all.

With the loss, the Tigers tumbled to 0-3 on the year.

Next up for the Yellowjackets is a home date with Garrison (1-2) on Friday. Garrison earned its first win of the year on Friday by defeating San Augustine 48-39.
